How long did you have to wait?
I signed up a in the evening of July 5 and got accepted the morning of the 8th.
That's not so long. I ask because some others like for example a friend from @insteadofmoney waits already a month.
If it had went a few more days for me I would have sent a message to steem. When I clicked on sign up it said that I would be approved within 3 buissness days and if not to contact Steem(link).
