What To Do?
Is now still a decent time to convert SBD to Steem or should I be simply holding for a while? We have some big whales potentially influencing the price at the moment with talk of the SBD price being driven into the ground.
I'm wondering if it's worth converting to Steem now or converting to another currency. I sometimes think it's best to dollar cost average to absorb price fluctuations however right now it looks like we're on a downward trend and so it might be a good time to wait for prices to start moving in the right direction before making any moves.
I have no issue holding on to my SBD but like to see it doing something of value, such as converting to Steem Power or sitting in another currency and increasing in value.

The market is the highest price I've seen since I joined a month ago. It used to be like 0.3 steem for a SBD like 2 weeks ago, times change quickly.
I would just do it, steempower is really important for the long term game.

I am a hopeless luddite and just figured out that converting SBD to Steem is how you power up. So I personally just converted a bunch of my SBD to Steem even though I know the price may be lower at some point! I was just anxious to Power Up I guess! Wahoo!
I think you’ll always win out by converting to SP at the end of the day. I just like to get the best value possible.
I'm sort of reluctant to power up at a less than 2-1 ratio.... good question, THE question!
Yeah I’m used to the 2-1 ratio as well. I wonder if those days are long gone?
I just folded and powered up!
