The graph is potentially visually misleading. It gets exponentially harder to move up the Alexa rankings, the further up you go, because you begin to encounter the mainstream, big-guy competition. That slight dip where it went from ranked ~2,000 to ~1,000 took a lot of power and strength by steemit.

I'm a fan of this platform. I'm a former Reddit user, I can't stand all the sub-reddit rules and censorship. I know some of it is to reduce spam, but in the end it just creates a subject echo chamber where no new opinions get a voice. So well done steemit, you're not perfect, but off to a good start.
