Lots of people reacted negatively to the announcements made by @ned on a recent YouTube video about the many significant changes coming to STEEMIT, including the arrival of entrepreneurs to the platform and Smart Media Tokens (SMT’s)
A serious post from @dan Larimer from a few months ago reflects the dangerous position in which Steemit is:
and @ned took note of that and reacted in the most professional manner, as a professional CEO as he is.
This changes will surprise the users that have moved into their own comfort zone making lots of money with Steem wrongfully delegated to their accounts.
STEEMIT won’t happen if serious entrepreneurs don’t come to this platform just as Ethereum wouldn’t have happened if true entrepreneurs never came to make use of the platform and make it work.
Steemit got full with false entrepreneurs (whales) that abused their voting power to build and destroy users and that is what the changes are coming to eradicate.
The purpose of blockchain that I like the most is that it will allow the fair distribution of wealth around the world and the changes coming to the Steemit platform will allow for this distribution to happen.
Groups of people that tried to enrich themselves by trying to cheat on a platform that isn’t even fully launched or that is still on its testing stage, will suffer the consequences and will pay for being greedy and for misinforming new users.
Steemit needed this changes to shake off all the crap that lots of ignorant fools covered this amazing platform with. 😊

Stake based voting to account based voting with smart identification is a game changer. It will encourage the genuine content builders more and with many new entrepreneurs its going to be a major shaker in the industry. Thats my 2cents.

I think Steemit has too many tokens as it is.
After watching the video I think is the fair way to reward users of the plataform, it seems to me like very positive changes that will give us all the same earning possibilities. Thank you for sharing my friend👊
