@barrycooper - DON'T GO! You're one of the few that I truly enjoy reading...and FB, while it's fun (hey, I even got an email that said Candy Crush misses me), you'll never make a penny there. Anyway, I'm about a month old here and I rarely look at what's trending because many of them are there because they've had time to generate an audience. If you've noticed, some of them are over a month old.

The few active people I have on my feed are people whom I've connected with because Steemit is, at its core, still another social media platform. And while I don't have a big following, I've noticed an increase of followers in my other social media outlets.

Keep looking. There is good material out there. Purely subjective, of course, but content creators would LOVE to know what their readers are in to because they really want to build an audience and may start gearing their writing/art/video to satisfy them. Maybe in a future post, you can share that nugget of information. You may be surprised by the results. :)
