Hello @timd - I'm so new here, I haven't even fully tried to understand the monetization or distribution. Whales...Minnows...Dolphins... okay! All I can do is write and hope it catches someone's attention. But as much as I want to earn money, my passion is writing. That's what I know and that's what I'm going to stick with. Good to know who the whales are though... I may have to check them out and see what kind of content they're putting out. Have a great day!

LOL - I hope so! I've never won a beauty or a popularity contest. May quality shine above the fray because time is a precious commodity too, and I'm doing my best to develop well-informed, cited work for Steemit, when I could be writing for my own personal blog. Ah, the big girl choices I have to make, eh? ;)
