Crypto-currency is blowing my mind every single day. I think its just the cats meow.
Me with Periphery in Portland:
Right now, I have the time, passion and energy to promote steemit with stickers, clothing, advertisements, event sponsorships and community outreach during many of my current endeavors. I currently host a few different events at local art galleries, skate parks and state parks - mostly music. I think it would be a great idea to start creating a line of Steemit brand merchandise and promotional media, in the same way that the bands are already doing at these shows. I think Steemit needs more youth, and I really believe that I have the capacity to make a very positive impact on its awareness here in Oregon. I have connections to screen printing facilities, printers and a steady stream of eager and open minded tourists.
I have a couple questions that one of the many articulate and informed people here might be able to answer:
What kind of legal work must be done so that I dont overstep copywrite boundaries?
Would you support a project like this?
As many of the people who are attending these gatherings are also playing Pokemon Go (and many kids who did not have cell phones are now getting them for this reason) I believe that this niche demographic is ready for a new paradigm of social media. One that enables them to attain value for their every contribution.
In line with the philosophy of decentralization, I think it would be a really great application of value to enable individual promoters to contribute in any way that they can.
This is going to be a very powerful thing.
Thank you for your consideration.
Yours Truly,
Heather
PS my first post didn't spark much conversation - Im hoping it was just bad timing :)
