A miner works at the Xinyuan coal mine at Qinyuan county - ABC News…
I've seen a lot of discussion regarding the concept that an article gets more votes than views. It has been proposed that this is a problem.
For me, I've set up my autocuration within Steemvoter and just let it run. I am constantly adjusting it by adding and removing bloggers based on returns. This is an art form in itself and, IMHO, should be an integral part of Steemit.
I haven't the time nor inclination to read many articles but I do a quick scan of content most days. I sometimes vote sporadically for the odd post I read but not often if it has already accumulated a fair number of votes as the reward will not be very high.
The network is the most efficient blockchain going and I love the Return on Investment (ROI) in accumulated Steem. The price is not great at the moment but I'm here for the long term. No other crypto gives such easy access to mining for the non techy.
All the disagreements and discord in recent days on the platform seem to me to just be teething problems, i.e. too much Steem Power in too few hands. That will, undoubtedly, change in time as the network matures.
The quality of writing, IMHO, is irrelevant as the distributed pot or inflation rate is constant. Some bloggers seem to think they are great authors but that doesn't interest me. I am much more interested in a more even distribution of rewards spread over more bloggers.
The usual bloggers who are often on the trending page makes the platform tiresome and discourages me from reading their content. I never vote for these people anyway as the returns with just 38,000 Steem Power make it not worth while. If I need the information that often trends I will find it elsewhere as it is often unoriginal, rehashed articles that can be found elsewhere.
The blogs that are of interest to me often never trend but tend to be of a personal nature.
Just some of my thoughts!
Hear, here!!
Exactly my thoughts. We are all important in the ecosystem.
