HEY GUYS, welcome back !!
Today I’m coming with something a little different,
If you know from past posts, i love to do my own research on everything and of course before i started to even think about steemit as a platform that i would use, i did my research!
I came across a lot of positive comments but I also came across some negative experiences. Eventhough most things have both pros and cons, my main concern was why people didn’t like steemit so much, when I couldn’t find any faults in it. From what iv’e gathered, these are the reasons:
- Immediate gratification
- some people were expecting to get paid almost immediately after posting their content. I guess they forgot that steemit doesn’t promise a payday. Work hard, believe in your content and you will receive an outcome.
- Subscribers
- Having little to none subscribers can be make people feel like their content isn’t being viewed by anyone, but that isn’t true, because you can use TAGS, using tags like on any other social media platform, you can have your content viewed by anyone once they search those specific tags, regardless of the amount of subscribers you have. When writing this piece, i had ten followers. Yes, that’s not many, but guess what, followers grow and you can build a relationship with your followers throughout time.
3.Upvotes
- Similar to people wanting an instant payday, people want an incredible amount of upvotes, which is all fine and dandy, but this isn’t magic, with time if your content is up to par, it will be recognised. At this point i barely have any upvotes, shoot, i just found out what upvotes were, and yet I’ve kept posting. Why you ask ? Because you have to BELIEVE IN YOUR CONTENT
Don’t forget to leave a comment below guys xo
