As far as legal goes I think Steemit still falls under the category of "either/or" as in it's simply too new to have legislation passed regarding it (I think, don't take my word for it).
Otherwise I can't imagine I'm breaking any Steem.it rules, considering we're living in the age of upvote buyingbots. Just a few off the top of my head: @buildawhale @boomerang @minnowbooster
