Write Faster to Work Smarter

in #steemit7 years ago

Chances that your post gets upvoted by a whale are influenced by the time your post remains on the top of "New posts" list.

At peak hours steemit is full of users and this list just get spammed by new content that other people post, if you are not having enough upvotes try to change your working schedule, start experimenting what works best for you.

There is always whales curating content so if you want to get noticed you better keep writing and engaging.

Always add something unique to your posts, choose a niche that you are familiar with.

If you know how to flip burgers post about that and dominate the burger niche.

The more you post the more known you become and eventually your follow base will increase.

At the start you really should work hard. But after that you can just use your brain.

I played a game World of Warcraft and there was a Warrior that had 200k kills (it takes like 3 years to get) and he was a known Warrior because he engaged in the community, he was a veteran. His success was based on the time he spent playing and not the fact that he played good, moreover he really was a shit Warrior.

I guess you got what I mean by this Warrior example, keep grinding and you will become something eventually.

How would you recommend finding the right categories for your posts? What is your approach?

If you mean about what I write about the answer will be I write about everything comes to my head.

If you mean use of tags then its really basic, first tag will be your main category of the post, another 4 will be secundary.

You know I was not hungry before watching your post. But you changed everything. Upvoted! :-D

You welcome! :)

Haha I thought I was the only one

Great reminder that the "Riches are in the niches."

We can't target everyone well. Nice post!

Thank you! :)

That's interesting!

You welcome :)

Right on the money with this post! As I've said before, Steemit is literally the Universe's way of putting money in the pockets of people that's been living a lifestyle of giving away knowledge for free, for years. Feels good to combine goodwill with profits in a none-dirty-feeling way! Upvote and Resteemed

Steemit is fun at the first place.

Nice info morpheus, I used to play wow actually haha annnd I want that burger!

Thanks for the tips. Do you recommend experimenting around with different topics or just stay in a few?

Experimenting.

Hello, interesting information, thanks for inviting me to read you

Like the connection with MMORPG's. If know me @morpheus03 I am not a fan of computer games apart from the odd business simulation and a good MMORPG because it is so close to reality. You start off with a character and he is literally without skills and then you have to level up and make this simple being into a vast God like being. Now that is interesting because for players of MMORPG's it shows that with work and smart work, you can level up, increase skills in various areas and you can look at what was nothing became something great and likewise on steemit.

Though I haven't got much posts on steemit, I have seen the start with only few cents and then the move to dollars. Same as leveling a nothing to being like a God, with dedication I can see why can reach those 70 level reps and have a mammoth curation upvote reward.

Create a great day,
@kozan

Exactly! It wont be harder than leveling a character in vanilla wow, xD

haha, yes those things can take centuries lol. From what I understand 1 year sustained effort allows moving up on Steemit and from my experience in an MMORPG a year+ and you at a decent level but takes time and the initial hurdle can be the hardest because you in so much negative.

Nice post, keep the good work up ;)
