Somebody always has it worse than you!!!!
Sometimes we feel like the world is falling down on us. Like if all hope is gone never to return. I've been there on many occasions and I know it sucks. Nothing is guaranteed in life except Death and taxes. Not even the technology we use so much everyday is guaranteed to be around forever. It could all go away in the blink of an eye. Are you ready for anything?
You can never be too comfortable!!!!
Sometimes we get used to the way things are and expect them to stay that way forever. Which can create laziness in anyone. That hunger we had before things went good is no longer there. Or is it? I'm the type that I'm always looking for the next hustle the next thing to help me get through life.
I've had some great success here on Steemit and it hasn't taken away my hunger for success. Sure I could have powered down my account when it was worth 70 grand but I didn't. I believe in this place and I believe the Steem I have in my account is worth much more than that. I believe my Steem account will make me a millionaire one day. Maybe not this year but definitely in my lifetime. That still doesn't stop me from posting every day. Every Steem is precious to me and it hurts whenever I have to sell some (which I haven't done in a while). But life always gets in the way of our dreams and goals. I will not hesitate to power down some Steem if I need it for bills.
I haven't had a job since July of last year. Steemit has been my main income and has allowed me to pay all my bills. It has also allowed me to provide for my three kids. Things have been running pretty smoothly and I have had some major support for my blog. Everything doesn't last forever. The past couple days I've noticed that I haven't been earning the way I normally do. I'm not gonna lie I am a little bit nervous that I won't be able to cover my bills. I have enough SP that I should be able to get by. Even though I don't want to but I have bigger responsibilities. I have faith that things will eventually turn around. Worse comes to worse and I have to get me a little job. I'm fine with that and willing to do whatever I have to.
Being a witness isn't the easiest!!!!
Well me and @bitcoinparadise started running a witness around 4 months ago. We've had some success and manged to land in the top 100!!!! We've been as high as number 83. We have earned around 470 SP. Like I said it hasn't been easy at all. We had an outrageous bill last month for our server. Almost $500 for one month over at AWS!!!!! We are not even running a full node so we were forced to switch over to OVH servers. I have been paying for the server costs from my own pocket. Since my earnings have gone down from where they once were it is getting harder to maintain. We are not going to quit until we run out of options.
Our mission is to be able to support the artists of Steemit. If we quit I feel like we are letting people down. We have come a long way. With the hard work of @bitcoinparadise we have built a strong community. The future is bright if we can get through these dark times. The Steem price rising is actually helping out immensely. We are in the building stage and I know one day the support we will be able to give users will be significant. Our discord server Smart Media Group is growing everyday. I follow very few ppl these days and I cannot remember if I added you before or after the "Big Purge" but I am a follower, and you help me a lot in my Steemit Journey :D I was a "prepper" (and still am) so I hope I am prepared for darn near anything. Up to and including a total monetary collapse!

We just need to have it at the back of our mind that no condition is permanent, someone does had it worse, some are having it ever more worse but perseverance is the key to success in all aspect of endeavors.
