Can Steem Compete With EOS?
There has been a lot of talk lately that EOS is going to replace Steem. Some are even saying that they will trade their SP holdings for EOS. I will tell you one thing I am not jumping ship. That doesn't mean I don't think EOS will be successful but I am happy where I am currently. It will be interesting to see what our competitors come up with. They do have a boatload of money to develop.
Steem has been performing for two years strong with no major meltdowns. It's a great number and many crypto projects don't make it this far. We've had our ups and downs but nothing bad enough to make me switch up. Since I started my crypto journey I haven't encountered another community like we have here. EOS has a lot of catching up to do if they want to really step in our shoes. Then I could be wrong and they come out with an even better product. We will always be the first of our kind and I'm not worried at all about the longevity of this place.
We each can make this place better!!!
I see many people complaining and crying over what they believe they are entitled to. Sure we all want to earn big bucks on every post why not. If you don't hit the mark try try again. Change up your posts to see if things change. Don't waste your time focusing on the next person when it could have been used to improve your own situation. Seriously though we all need to understand that we can make this place better together. All you have to do is tell other people about this place, the more the merrier. We all saw what happened when the price jumped to $8+. I'm pretty sure we are going to reached those levels soon I just don't know when. If I did I would probably be a rich man already. I can't tell the future but I have a good feeling about this place. More people on Steem means more competition for the rewards pools so be careful what you ask for.

People just "love" to run there mouth off. Simple as that. It's damn well human nature. EOS may well provide some kind of great social media platform, but until that time, it's all simply theoretical guesswork. Steemit is a working, established product that's been paying out since day one. I know where my loyalties lie, at least. "The grass ain't always greener", as the saying goes...

I recently spoke with a few local business owners that were concerned about how stanwood was becoming somewhat of a joke for real estate. Why is it so hard to start a business in such a liberal/democratic area? To me it looks like it is impossible to live up here and I already know what everyone is thinking go find some other place to live if you don't like the sound.
I see weed has been legalized and heroin injection sites are already in seattle. People with heroin dependency issues are being put on suboxene and other FDA state approved Opioids with fear supposed fear of patient going through withdrawal.
What these Drs need to keep hearing is that most of their patients have no plans on quitting. If all of these weed business are being banished by veterans because they fought wars and hate their youth because they remind them of heroin that they killed people over then this whole system is going to hell in a hand basket and I am not speaking biblical because this is not cool or even religious this is financially making people commit suicide. Actually I've already seen this before and if you are wondering why police are targetting individuals with weed crops it might be because you are the cop targeting them having a grand old time with your kids at home sober watching the news saying this is bad.
I find it strange that all these weed stores are being laughed at for putting money in the public school system and we have all these religious incompetent non militarized families blaming hippie kids for school shootings. I believe they are not the problem obviously since by the time you read this letter they will already be costing catch 22 money that you love, or dead, or released.
This is why I find my situation a little bit interesting because I am trying to have a life as an american citizen and I kind of can't have a little boy or a little girl at all. Not to mention my last name is Angel and why would I want a child in such a nazi regime? Washington state has legalized cryptocurrency and I cannot own a gun legally. So what would be a good solution to this problem? Dating a female council woman with a gun rack? Maybe that is too much and a bit to far out of my league. I should probably just settle for a girl fresh out of college in the academy but a felon with one strike on his record is a little bit unattractive if you all know what I mean.
I have been off felony probation for a few years actually and I still am getting harrased by not only my land lord but by my mother steven chames and my birth mother. My neighbor knows that my room mate(currently on probation) lives at the house and keeps calling the police on me for noise disturbances. So I don't think you care about my life at all if you let this go on and instead of doing what you all think I am going to do I'm gonna sit back and watch you. Just know when all this paperwork is flingin around their is a mother with the name stormie(like the weather) wasting state money over the phone blaming her son for all of the worlds problems and doesn't have her own sons back with last name Angel.

I agree with your perspective. Steem has a big headstart. It will take EOS a few years to get rolling. Even then Steem will have had another few years to grow.
I expect I will be on both. I'm excited for both projects. It doesn't have to be an either/or thing.
