thanks for all the great tips! I'm new on Steemit and trying to familiarize myself with the community first... What would be your advice in terms of how long to wait before starting a stronger posting routine? Do you think it is a matter of how many followers and interactions we have, or mostly about upvotes?
I'm thinking on releasing one of my ebooks, chapter by chapter over here... I will give Steemshelf a try.
This is a content promotion check-list that I've used and can be helpful for everyone here, after posting new content on Steemit you can:
2-Share on FB, Twitter, LinkedIn or your prefered social network (better if you can program a set of re-posts: day 1 (2), day 2 (1), in one week (1) in two weeks (1). That will give it a longer life.
4-Re-publish it on Medium (one or two weeks later), and same as with Reddit, invite people to follow you here.
5-Look for related questions in Quora, answer them and share the link to your content.1-Submit your content to https://pingler.com/
3-Share it on Reddit. There is also a useful tool http://vyper.io/reddit_converter/ if you want to share the text there, and invite people to come for more.
Hope it helps!
If you are thinking of posting a previously released ebook, please be sure to study the post about Ethics in Publishing that I link to in https://steemit.com/steem/@bex-dk/improving-quality-on-the-blockchain . You might find that entire post useful as well. In general, the Steem community expects new content--or at least thoroughly updated content--not the reuse of previous content.
