The “I” dissolves on Steemit

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

It’s been around 7 months for me on Steemit, and this journey has been going smooth for me so far. I have managed to stabilize myself well here, I have built up my own network to fall back on. I have received a lot of learnings from people and a wholehearted support from people on Steemit....

To think of it was it possible all alone and the answer is simple NO.

Everyone joins Steemit with a purpose of earning and that’s the fact no one can deny, and so have I. But can I earn by myself here just creating blogs and posting it, again the answer is NO.

There is a lots that goes into anyone’s success. For sure your efforts and consistency one important key. If you are here just for fun, trying to show up yourself once in a way and then keep doing the disappearing acts, you will never be taken seriously.

Setting a Goal for yourself for what you want to be here on Steemit for will be one another driving force for you, because your goal will help you keep moving ahead irrespective of the failure. Only if you have a clear cut goal, will you work on some success strategy, else again and aimless effort.

Ok so now I have my Goals and strategies sorted and I am also putting in good effort, so is that enough. Well some will say yes, and it can be if you have done some good investments in Steem power to boost up your voting power, but for lot many people who join here without investing anything then it is not enough for sure.

Then the most important thing is the support of people. For me this is the most important part on steemit.
You absolutely cannot function in silos.

What beauty I see here, irrespective of what you are, people support you in every possible way. If they feel you are genuine and you are putting in efforts they will surely promote you.

And that is where I say the “I” gets dissolved on Steemit.

I really get amazed sometimes to see how people reach out to each other and give assistance. There are so many competitions that are being held, through which visibility gets easier, There are so many Interviews being taken again to give light to people, so many education series which constantly keeps guiding you what you should do, what you should not and how you can grow. All this is being done to support each other.

People help you build skills for long term success, they encourage you to come up with better ways of doing things, there is access to all the information that you would need, you feel connected if you yourself are and you have options to focus on your priorities. While you grow, you also ensure that you are assisting others in the journey, that’s the beauty of this place.

And that’s where the “I” gets dissolved when you think beyond yourself.

Whatever you need is all out there in a very robust way, all you need is a commitment. So go all out for it and prove yourself.

7 months is not very long to reach everything you have reached, so you're rather lucky-) I am here for 4 months, and it seems to be the road isn't very easy)

And yes, I like your sinceruty very much. You say "we are here to earn" and that's true! There are so many people who shout they are not money motivated, and they don't need money from Steemit, they just love it.
We all love Steemit, but we are here for money - that's it, otherwise, we can go and use any other plantform without payments.
I don't like such false games...

Of course, money is a plesant addition to usefulknowledge and fun we can get here.

And yes, I agree, that you can be a brilliant, but alone you mean nothing...Support and friends are everything here.

hello grateful for your post, I think it is important the testimonials of people who have time in the community so that the new can realize that if they can succeed in steemit but need to be constant and diciplinados and as you say no Miss a time and disappear again. jejejje aca in venezuela to the internet we joke is going for days I still take the day I do not have internet to develop a post on my computer and then comes the internet looking for images and upload the post. you have to work with what we have but not discourage you are an example to follow thanks.

Absolutely agree, without other people one will not find success here or anywhere in life.

And besides that happiness must be shared. Erase the word networking and make friends instead.

Dear friend @nainaztengra , you are a successful and wonderful person ,,,, You have been able to create your own network because you are successful and sincere,,We all need to support each other, ,,, I wish you more progress and success،
So good luck my dear @nainaztengra 😉👍👍😃

@nainaztengra
That is indeed the beauty of @steemit the fact that it is built around supporting others and having healthy debates and exchange of information, whether fact or fiction or advice.

This is what I love about this platform, it encourages everyone to do better.
stay blessed

This post is really a source of so many recommendations and inspiration.
With each passing day, I'm learning so much from this platform and hope I'll be in a position where you are now, a successful Steemian. :)

Thank you for this post! It is a great reminder to me that I if I stand alone, I will fall. As an introvert I have had to stretch myself in order to connect with others and the whole experience of reaching out has been a valuable learning venture for me. Steemit has changed me and I'm so grateful for the friendships I made here. Upvoted and resteemed!!

HAHAHAHA i remember now that my teacher in high school always saying these quote before

Dear @nainaztengra

The way you see the world, the people around you, your fellow Steemians, all of these are reasons why I'm so glad that I met you here on #steemit .

I find myself carrying your message out to the world - to the people around me, my friends, family and strangers I meet.

The way you see the world is universally applicable - not just in the online world or the Crypto universe. It suites everywhere - and does good to everyone.

🌿Yours, 🌿

@adityajainxds #thealliance

I joined Steemit over a year ago and never did any posts because I felt a bit lost and not sure where to start. But your book I am readimg and this post are both helping me to get of feel of how I might fit in here and be able to contribute. Thank you for your encouraging words!

good motivation for my new join steemit

@nainaztengra - excellent post about what community means on Steemit. Yes we are all individuals, but here we can connect, grow, and gain daily. There is not a day that goes by where I do not learn something. Steemit is a family. Upvoted your post!

I agree one cannot function in silos. Much as in Steemit as in life.

I would have to agree with this post. Seems likr people in here are friendly and willing to help each other out which will help everyone at the end of the day. Would you mind sharing some of your early goals when you first started?

Thank you for this post @nainaztengra it clears up and emphasises what this platform is all about.

I'm new to @steemit and still finding my own path and creating my network of new friends, hopefully, won't take lots of time.

Stumbled upon Steemit when I've purchased the eBook from @hopehuggs, post 2 profit and like most of the users came here to try and add a new income stream to my online businesses and until now it's been all about knowledge and witness other people opinions on the vast array of different subjects.

I love to write on different subjects as well so I genuinely think that I found my corner on the internet to practise my English and writing skill giving value to other!

I'm eager to learn and hope to be doing a similar post like this in my 1st year of steemit.

Well written article. I especially loved these parts:

What beauty I see here, irrespective of what you are, people support you in every possible way. If they feel you are genuine and you are putting in efforts they will surely promote you.

I really get amazed sometimes to see how people reach out to each other and give assistance. There are so many competitions that are being held, through which visibility gets easier.

People help you build skills for long term success, they encourage you to come up with better ways of doing things, there is access to all the information that you would need, you feel connected if you yourself are and you have options to focus on your priorities.

In the real world, most people making it don't want others to and would go to great lengths to ensure this.

In surprised the reverse is the case here. There are so many communities set to help people grow and succeed.

Steemit really is amazing and a true community.

nice post, i am happy to see that your account is awesome in only 7 months
keep it up good work!!

This is abaolutely true, you cannot survive here alone,...

Hi there. I am fairly new to Steemit, but one of the things I like about it is that it really puts an end to jealousy for me.

If I compare myself to others in another platform, I would try to do better than them all the time and feel threatened or envious if they get a lucky break.

Here I see people in my little growing network growing all the time and when they do and they grow then I can only feel happy. Their success is my success and they feel the same about me!

When I grow then my support counts for more and so does theirs. So we all end up winning. This has given me a lot of easy of mind.

Wow, this is inspiring. Steemit has truly helped us in one way or the other and truthfully the I dissolves on steemit.

so true.. its never a 1 man show.. in any successful activity, may it be a company or a war, people participation is very important although you may be their guide.

Hi,
Nice to read about you and you posts and views. I am into steemit from august 2017, I am interested in photography and I am also into crypto trading and investing,I have followed you so you can also follow me. Let us all join hand and work with one common objective to make steemit reach to great height.
Best Of luck

Totally agree with you :)
Success needs Countless efforts, sleepless nights, Working plan,
it doesn't mean if you have a plan you would never fail, but this failure will encourage you to make plan better than the previous.

Commitment Encourages you to do more hard work,
Commitment does let you sleep Unless you achieve what you desired.

Thank you for this, it encourage me to set a goal and be as genuine as I can here in this community. i can't wait for future me in 7 months here, So again thanks, it boosts me up, really! :)

Very nicely described the power of WE.
Regards @crafter

Thank you. You have encouraged a weary soul here.

Very well presented and stated, anyone on here focusing just on themselves will struggle i do believe

Such an inspiring post! Thank you. I just read your interview with @hopehuggs and appreciate your sharing your experience here on Steemit with us. I'm learning a lot from experts here like you.

Thank you so much for this post, @nainaztengra, including the comments that grew out of it.

This is my ninth full day on Steemit and I've been hanging back from writing my own posts. Firstly to meet other Steemians via comments on posts I find interesting and educational but also because I've been wanting to structure what I'll be talking about.

My main 'day' activities revolve around Soul alignment and healing work, mostly through energy healing, especially sound healing, and guided healing meditation. But soul mate relationships, divinity integration... there are so many topics.

This morning I decided I'd pay more attention to tags in my wheel house just so I could meet others working in and interested in these topics. So glad I did because I've now come across another of your posts... did see one on crystals before... and now met a second astrologer on Steemit, @solarisastro. Drilling down into the relevant sub-sections of Steemit will continue to be a main focus now in this second week and beyond. Community is important. ;)

It is a fact we should know. We cannot do it alone whether whales or minnows

Thank you for the inspiration. After reading about your interview with @hopehuggs, I have learnt more about Steemit as well. Thank you for sharing your experiences, it reduces some of my learning curve 😃 greatly appreciatedd

Frankly, I'm a fun loving person and do what I wish or want in any particular moment. So if no one wants to take me seriously here, I really don't care. Why get serious? Let's have fun! That's the only goal worth living for 😊

I'm pretty long on the platform. but I do not know much. What is an alliance, how to use it and what to do at all))). There are many questions). But I try to be interesting).

Great post about the Steemit community and what it can mean if you want to better yourself or better the experience of someone else. We can’t do it alone here, and to think that someone could is actually kind of amusing. So thanks for reminding me that no one person is an island. We all need each other in one way or another. 🐓

Truth! The only real currency on earth is the positive and creative interactions between people. Well done. Peace.

Hi Nainaz, you really hit on some very important points about being successful on Steemit. Thanks for this important post!
