So, what happened this week on The Steeming Pile?
Hint: It was a little bit awesome... Okay, a-lot-a-bit!
To start, we had two amazing guests join us: @sgendeavors and @ericwilson. We engaged in conversations that expanded our minds and inspired critical thinking. They were both welcomed with a round of Quick React w/ @g0nr0gue (muahaha!).
What the hell is Quick React?
Our beloved @g0nr0gue asks you a series of 10 completely random questions. You have 6-8 seconds to answer each one, totaling in roughly a minute and a half for all 10 questions. What will he ask you?! Come on the Pile and see for yourself.
This week's Preemptive Strikes were incredible!
Every week, each of our members selects quality (and maybe under-appreciated) content on Steemit and showcases them during the broadcast. You guys are in for a treat with this one. Check it out:
@Orvium: Science meets Blockchain
"Orvium is the first open source and decentralized framework for managing scholarly publication's life cycles and the associated data. Our goal is to help the scientific community share its publications, eliminate existing inefficiencies and biases of the publication market and improve the quality and effectiveness of the publication life cycle. The ultimate objective is to become the leading publication platform for the research community while returning the benefits of science to society." -[Orvium — Open and Transparent Science Powered By Blockchain]@Chigz14
"Hey guys, sorry I haven’t been able to stream or post much in the last week, I’ve just committed to a long contract for some new work, I’ve recently started my own company, I’ve been in the working in the wind sector for around 5 years but recently taken the plunge to work for myself, as you can all understand starting a new business will take a lot of commitment at the start but I will still try and interact as much as possible on steem, dlive and in the dlivestreamers discord." -[Clean energy ❤️]@ScienceAngel
"After several years of research, it has been found that the African savannah elephant (Loxodonta africana) genome surprisingly contains 20 copies (which means 40 alleles!) of TP53 tumor-suppressor gene. Just for comparison purposes it should be mentioned that human genome contains only one copy of this gene - 2 alleles, and both of them need to be active for proper function as a tumor-suppressor." -[Peto’s Paradox, or Why Elephants Do Not Get Cancer?]@dougpolkcrypto
"I don't know about you guys, but it drives me NUTS when youtubers only post videos during bull markets. It's like, what? You want people to watch your videos? Pathetic." -[I've Had ENOUGH of Bandwagon Crypto YouTubers!]Get a taste of some of today's crypto-comedy. This guy's hilarious!
@DavidPakman

"What's up Steemians!!! Today we are talking about freebies! I love freebies, to be honest. Who doesn't,really??" [㋛ One Airdrop a day, keep poverty away]@Runicar
"I'm spending at least 2 hours a day watching and engaging with you on your live streams. Dlive is lacking honest engagement and I'm here to set an example to show how we can fix it. If you want my support on your streams just leave a comment on this or any of my future live streams!Not asking for anything in return but you could give back by doing the same thing for someone else. Join their streams, give them some quality feedback and honest engagement!" [Dlive Curation/Engagement Project: Sharing my earnings with the DLive Communtiy]

Great job, @narashi. This certainly helped deplete my voting power :)
Thanks @ericwilson! This was a fun one to do. I’m loving the Preemptive Strikes part of our show so far. There is so much out there to explore and discuss. See you on the next Pile! Or maybe @g0nr0gue and I see you for Therapy Thursday’s tonight around 6:30 MST.
