Is there one whale who earned Steem Power by blogging?

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

I went to check 20+ whales and didn't see one who blog on regular basis.

First question to you guys is there one whale who blog on regular basis?

Second question is there one whale who earned Steem Power by blogging?

If there is no one, what that say about Steemit? I think it's say a lot about bullshitology of this platform. So we have guys who don't blog or produce quality content having all the power and peasants who should write their ass of to produce quality content in hope whales (non bloggers) give them some money for it. Let's be honest...it's bullshit!!!!...So people who are not writing anything should decide how much money will receive people who write blogs?...It makes sense!

All of the whales got their Steem Power on various different ways except blogging...and this platform should be about blogging, right?! O yes, the whales are super awesome bloggers.

More and more I'm on Steemit I realize why 90% of people who joined Steemit give up from it. It's mostly because because most of power is in hands of few. Funnily enough most of those in power don't contribute to this platform at all.

I question is it worth it to be part of this unfair system?! Don't want millions, but millions will be earned by people who don't blog at all!!!!

Is that fair we know the answer.

I thought everyone knows how this works, but it seems that's not so.

Thanks for info!

Welcome to the world of capitalism. Did you live on a rock for the last 100 years? The Steem environment reflects just what happens outside. The ones who have money invest their money and by this they hope to end up with more money. That´s the whales. The others feed the game by hoping to become whales one day. At least here it is better than on Facebook and Insta where the users not even get crumbs in return.
Some whales were early investors/entepreneurs who gave their money when it was at huge risk of being lost. Now they get their reward for taking this risk.
On the other hand, I totally agree that it needs to get much more fair and balanced. And lots to be done to increase the user experience.

So, they invested money and now have right to exploit the system forever?

You can't become whale just by blogging.

I will emphasize word CRUMBS.

I agree with all your objections. A whale wouldn´t, probably.

It seems the ones who run for witness or are involved in witnesses do blog sometimes. I can't think of names off hand but I tend to vote for those that I see writing something.

I'm just waiting to see what will EOS be like. Steemit is a feudal centralized system.
