They are waiting to take off but the question is when and by how much. In the last few weeks more money has poured into the space but not really on the back of more hype.
What Crypto Needs Too Boost prices
Big online customers accepting crypto would be a big boost for the space and I can see that happening soon. As business always like to get a step ahead on there competition. I think you will see this happening and it will again boost the investment and buying of coins.

Agree @newmarket65, crypto might be getting ready to take off. There have been lot of news lately (from IMF, JP Morgan, VPE, Thompson Reuters, etc.) about institutional investors getting ready to enter crypto.
