Cold Wind Blows
Rolling and shivering under my blanket, the cold dry wind blows, Harmattan is here once again, I leap into the air with joy.
Interrupted by the sound and swirling motion of the fan, it dawns on me that it was the electricity unit trying to save us from the heat at night.

It's December 21st, 2017. I'm still rolling around. Harmattan still lurking, ready to roam. But the ecosystem was gradually changing, the imminent downward spiral caused by our lackadaisical attitude towards our environment has gripped harmattan letting it cling precariously to the periphery of seasons, such that it could go into oblivion.
According to the Wikipedia article, Harmattan is a season in the West African subcontinent, which occurs between the end of November and the middle of March. Characterized by cold, dry, dust-laden wind, originating from the Sahara desert.
Like Harmattan, like winter
Christmas season without snow, could that still be called Christmas season?
That's the paradox, that we should try our best to prevent.
In Nigeria, since my secondary school days, the joy of reduced visibility once it was December, always signified that the season is here. The season of celebration.
The fog, coupled with the cold made us grateful that we are experiencing our own winter. But, fast forward to 2017.

SAVING HARMATTAN - THE WAY FORWARD
However, to sustain our environment and help save harmattan, we will have to put the "3R's" into perfect use; ** Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle ♻. **
This way, we can reduce global warming which is a canker worm, eating and depleting the ozone layer.

In the end, we are the ones who can save Harmattan from extinction and give the upcoming generation a great feel of the "West African Winter"
Not only saving Harmattan, but also the melting ice caps, and overflowing river banks which are causing flooding.
- I really crave to see my friend Harmattan soon again, how much I miss you.
** Our little act of kindness to the environment could help rescue Harmattan from the suffocating hands of global warming and make the season a merry one. **
Nice one
Thank you very much Boss

It's a pleasure Sir, thank you.
The harmattan has dissappeared since over here😭
That's the challenge we're facing man, together we can create a sustainable environment by fighting global warming. If care isn't taken, we might as well bring the post apocalyptic world into this generation. Hence, recommendations are suggested such as the 3R's
Real fact n on point
Glad to know that we've noticed these changes. Please let's all put our hands together and save Harmattan from the cruel hands of Oblivion. Thank you
