So, for now I want to make a serious post.
Two days ago someone upvoted my comment, it was worth $22 at that time.
This is a screenshot I took about 2 days ago.
And this I took a few seconds ago
I tried to research the exact reason this is happening, many people had different opinions about it.
One reasonable one was that the income I made with the upvotes, are getting distributed to the posts that have higher income.
So $7 have already been distributed to other posts? Well, I wouldn't really mind if it were just a few dollar, but I am quite new on steemit and find it very unmotivating to continue being active.
Not only that, I checked my account on http://steem.supply two days ago.
This came up
$38, a big amount for being active almost a week. I was extremely happy about that.
But as I noticed the next days, the reward was dropping hour after hour.
First it decreased by a few dollar, ok I was fine with that.
The next day, I had almost 10 dollar less. It was very worrying, didn't even know what happened.
Again, this is another screenshot I made now
Somehow, $16 are just gone. Nowhere to be found. I don't know how to contact support, so I wrote them on facebook, sadly no answer.
And to top it off, this decresed in a matter of 2-3 days, I won't get the payment in another 4 days.
It will probably decrease by a huge amount when I get that reward.
I mean, ok, this is still money I will get by writing a comment and other people upvoting it, but looking at this, it is very unmotivating. That this happens to people who just started using steemit, is quite unfair.
This not only happens to me, a few friends of mine already went from $9 to $3. They as well as me, started about a week ago.
If someone from support reads this, I can understand if you have to distribute the income to payout other people, but at least spare the new ones for a few weeks.
I had post reach 190$ and it decreased to 120 in 4 days :'(
I see your $120 post, you are also quite new right? Just starting and already so much money, this is good. But that is exactly it, demotivating. Losing so much in a few days, that is
