Alcohol is definitely hard to kick, I have a eating disorder, addicted to carbs, as i write this i'm 61 A-Fib 6' 570lbs and have to get this weight off before it takes me away. Good luck with your struggles. Steemit has definitely given me motivation to get moving and excercising, I can see where Steemit is going.

Food addiction is one of the absolute hardest addictions to break. I will soon be placing a post on my page talking about the long walks of addiction and I invite you over to take a look. Follow along if you like. I am a "retired" (that really means disabled <--- Despise that word) medical professional with counseling and psychology credz as well. I prefer to just call my self a storyteller though. I am new to Steemit and will be adding posts daily. Come on over any and all @thelastsage
Peace,
The Last Sage
I am forced retired on disability in 2008 after working 35 years, in and out of the hospital last few years. Last stint was in December, bursitis of the hip. In for 9 days, rehab/nuthouse for two weeks, couldn't stand without crutches. i am still on crutches but I can almost walk without them. Lost a lot of muscle laying in bed for 9 days.
You can do it! There is a whole community here to shower love on you. For me personally, I had to reflect on what was making me unhappy, how to improve on that situation, and then take those negative aspects of my life and crush em. I wish you the best, send much love and thank you for wishing me luck.
