It is true that greed is a driving force for some people to participate on steemit, but it's not the case for everyone. A lot of people just want to view and post quality content regardless of whether or not they get a reward from it. The sad reality is that these people are most likely not the majority at this point, but they definitely do exist and have so in the past.

That's right, so let there be different subjects, on life, society, arts, relationship, and enough with this sucking up to steemit. There are hundreds of platforms with huge content, This differs only in that it pays. And it's great, but lets not make it the driving factor
Definitely agree! Thanks for your input! (Just realized that bots often post these type of comments so I have to try extra hard now to give a valid complement. Those greedy bots are sabotaging what it means to be human on this platform. A better complement would be, "Thank you for your insightful post regarding the motivation behind bloggers posting on steemit!") That's the end of my rant haha
