Isn't it ironic? The same resteem feature available to all of us is what we pay bots for. I have come across posts that otherwise wouldn't have if not for other steemians resteeming it.
The resteem feature helps give visibility to quality posts. I said quality because that is what should be the norm. You should only resteem good contents.
While searching for good posts to read, I came across posts as late as 2016. And I noticed they don't have that resteem button.
I was made to understand posts over 7 days don't carry that feature anymore and I thought what of people that are yet to even join steemit. Have they already miss out on reading good contents.
My search for answers led me to steemconnect.com/sign. A site with such amazing features that make your life on steemit seamlessly easy.
From this site you can resteem posts as old as 2016.
Click the 'Search operation' and type 'Reblog' note: Reblog as in image below.
Select the Reblog option and the following will appear
Now for the spaces above marked as 'author' and 'permalink' you'll need the authors steemit username which goes 'oladokun' for me. Copy the authors name without the @.
For the above examples @heiditravels is it. The post is about how to make quality posts for steemit. The permalink is the link to the specific post which is almost the post title. For that we go to the address bar as below.
The permalink as above starts right after the steemit username at the address bar. Copy and paste it to the space provided for permalink.
Next click on 'Generate link' after that is the button 'try link' as below
You'll be directed to the following page to confirm and continue to the next page. Click on 'Continue'
The sign in page comes next. This requires your username and posting key to confirm
Fill in the requirements and you are good to go. Check my blog to see the 2-years old post resteemed.
