RE: Daily Steem Stats Report - Thursday, April 5, 2018

in #steemit7 years ago

What seems to be lacking is the posts, and comments per posts. if you look at the number of new accounts in 6 months, and compare that with a very flat number of posts and comments. double the people are posting at same or less numbers. I would like to see what the number one reason is people are not posting. Money? not enough views? or are they not creators and prefer just watching and reading content?

Go look at @arcange daily reports at the same time you look at these. We are losing minnows and redfish as soon as we get them. The "deadfish" category over there is the biggest and fastest growing by far. The big guys are opting out of voting and delegating to bidbots. It is very worrying.

Oh, thank you for the good stats link. 6 out of 10 not using is a troubling sign. And i wonder if facebook saw the same kind of stats in the beginning. It would make sense, less reason to go on when you have little or no contacts yet. But it's upvoting that's more important to me, non-users never notice what they are missing, but the little fish trying hard is not getting the votes. Of course i am just a little fish, so i am bias.

I agree - we just need to keep working and connecting as best we can with the people who are actually here.
