After seeing the result of the hard fork and keeping an eye on STEEM's value I must say this platform is amazing. All the technicality behind the fork made sense and as of now it seems to be a great thing but what the outcome meant for the communities members is what really had me thinking...
So let me point out what I think the hard fork shows about the SteemIt community and its developers.
It seems pretty obvious that the true value of the SteemIt platform isn't reflecting in the present value of STEEM tokens. This is actually a great thing because one can assume that this value is being put back into the infrastructure. Piecing this together with the results of the hard fork I can't help but believe that part of the purpose of the fork was to give value back to the community and it's early adapters.
This is also a great example of how being charitable is great for business in the long run. Instead of the SteemIt blockchain hoarding coins, it's showing a token (no pun intended lol) of appreciation to us who are helping build the foundation. Remember we're still in beta.
Now with the hard fork in tact, the STEEM FOMO is about to kick into overdrive and expect the value of STEEM tokens to take flight!
There is a mistake for sure. Voting Power is way too big! Much bigger than 4x
