I think BTC is going to decouple this year.. or hope..
My (highly speculative) theory is that Bitcoin will continue to drop, but at some point there will be a turning point where some of the alts no longer drop alongside and have bottomed out before Bitcoin. The reason being that some alts are solid projects with upcoming excitement. If there's real value and potential there, then at some point buyers are going to protest against the dropping price and buy the tokens up because it's simply a good investment and crazy cheap price.
I know I'm starting to feel hungry to buy some of these bargains, in any case. I will wait a little longer before buying, but it shouldn't be too long now. Need another 20-30% drop before I buy, I think (for bitcoin anyway)
