There should be a limit on how many times an account can self vote, such as 5 times in a 24 hour period. Abuse would be cut down significantly without taking away the privilege of being able to self vote from everyone.

There are many spammers with about 20 accounts on Steemit. I noticed that in my contest two months ago. One user used about 10 accounts with similar nicknames to upvote his comment :(
I think talk of steemit having 800K plus users is premature. Most have multiple accounts, so we can atleast half that number.
But it does mean the potential for growth is HUGE
Absolutely! It should be limited to avoid all kind of abuses on the platform.
