I love this and strongly agree! I often believe that the first generation of anything that breaks ground will fail, and the second generation will succeed, for example myspace was social media! but it failed and facebook took over..

there are definitely other examples like google glasses.. then snapchat glasses were a hit.. etc etc
I think steem will make it, especially when celebrities realize they can say 3 words on here and make 100s of thousands because of their fan base vs saying 3 words on twitter and making zilpo
