I will come to that in the next part. But my answer to your question. Yes, for me there is no issue with that. I upvote my own posts, as I find them quality content. But, I do upvote loads of other people too, and that's the issue. Only self-upvoting is just plain stupid, as you miss curation rewards and you will not attract followers. I hope your question is answered.

Excellent post by the way. I've been here a few weeks now, and have already learned new things from your post.
In my view, it's perfect ok to upvote oneself's post. Just be careful not to upvote your own comments too soon, as you may miss out on voting bots doing it for you.
Comments I don't upvote for myself that often... Indeed if you comment through eSteem you can get some bots to upvote you!
I haven't looked into eSteem yet. Maybe I should. It's a mobile app, right?
Yep, for the moment, it's the only mobile option for Steemit.
Thanks for the info. This comment was actually written in the eSteem mobile app. Testing it to see what it's like. So far the thing I miss the most is my feed. Can't seem to find it anywhere, but maybe it's just that I haven't looked carefully enough.
I found it. It was right there staring at me.
I see on their webpage that they'll launch a webapp soon. That will be a major improvement, as we then can access it both from our mobile phone, as well at an ordinary web browser.
