8. Steem Price Update
¯\___(ツ)____/¯ Follow me @penguinpablo for daily Steem statistics.
Is it weird that our daily active user count generally stays the same?
You would think that this number would gradually rise over the weeks, but it doesn't... does this mean we lose as many people as we gain week after week?
Good catch. Does anyone how exactly do they define an 'active user'? I think the number of users who post regularly doesn't change much as most new users just try the platform and move on if they aren't getting immediate rewards.
It's based on log ins, so those who log in daily are considered active users.
No. If you look at the graph then you could see it's at an all time high. You don't look at graphs from week to week and expect to see changes. Anyone that has ever tracked something long term knows this. This is natural growth curve how it looks like.
Seems to me that we should be seeing a massive growth in active user accounts with the youtube purge driving traffic to steemit / dtube.
Thx, still so valuable!
Thx for your upvote :)
the graphs really help me to understand the movement of the ratio of steem. but can't figure out why cryptocurrency is going so down day by day.
To bad to see the new accounts below 1k again.
In the past few days a lot of accounts were approved, so I guess they cathed up and a number below 1k reflects the actual growth at the moment.
It will interesting to see if the Facebook scandal will have an impact on Steemit.
Thx for the stats once again!
Facebook scandal?
People are shocked Facebook collect data about them.
How funny is that. It is like being shocked to that the world turns around the sun.
But the question is if this is also possible on Steemit. The blockchain on itself is freely accessible, but can you related identitites to the accounts on the blockchain.
Thanks sharing evering..
Great job done by you.im impressed..good initiative to exposer to all..it will helpfull to the new users too.

I'm relatively new to Steem. Can someone explain it to me, what to do with Steem? Is it better to using for Powering up? At least at the beginning? Thanks for your answer.
Hopefully the STEEM price has turned the corner. $14 by August!
