Finally a new Steem Stats Report. I have been out of my office for a few days and was therefore not able to post the latest Steem statistics. But I'm back so here we go... :-)

Users who only read from the Steem blockchain without interacting are not included. The actual number of 'Active users' is therefore much higher than the accounts transacting.

3 weeks since our last new accounts spike!?
That is crazy.. Is the because of back log?
Indeed... I think many people wait until their account is approved. The backlog must be enormous now.
My mother and my wife have been waiting for accounts for a couple of weeks now! NOT good.
I now realise I could have created for them but its really discouraging to new users.
Let's hope the next spike is enough to push us pass that 1 million mark! 😉

But this must also mean that people - at least some - are paying for early access too.
I feel like the powers that be here are really trying to get rid of the little guys right now. The vast majority of people with reps below 50 are no longer self voting and probably have no idea they can with the recent change to the posting screen. I'm very unsettled here these days. No one approving accounts is another way to kill the place if that is what "they" are trying to do.
