To me, a downfall is just preparing for a major rise. I always buy in a down these days, with whatever crypto. It's like a catapult: draw back, then shoot for the moon.

The future of Steem is looking very bright. I could not agree more with your analysis. The market as a whole is taking a trend downward for the time being but will make a turn around. However what is most exciting me about Steem in this moment is the amount of new and active accounts being created. This in my opinion is one of the best indicator of future growth. Now we just have to look toward future improvements of the platform. Thank you for posting. Looking forward to more.

Sure the community will grow with every passing day, but this is a sign of worry for those who have huge investment in steem stock, if the price goes up then they will earn more as compare to their investment but this is just an opinion, and i hope that this community cross every platform out there and become the number 1 site on the internet @penguinpablo
Well there is no Steem stock. And if more users are coming to the platform this will in turn raise the price of steem, thus increasing the value of those who had previously held Steem.
what i meant by stock was that who has large sum of SBD in their steemit account

Great Post with all great info! I enjoy your steemnow site also. One of the best SteemIt tools out there I believe. I find I keep it open in my browser all the time as one of my regular sites to check now! My vote doesn't count for much but thanks again.
Sometimes you have to believe in the project and not expect short-term goals ....

You made a very good point here! I've seen a few people panicking about the price of Steem dropping, but ultimately the price of everything has dropped. It's only natural after the huge bull-run the crypto space has seen in the last few months.
To be perfectly honest, I think the seasoned investors round here would be worried if there wasn't a correction around now!
When the numbers are up, the price will sure to follow!!

All good news for steemians, except the last chart... Ok, I'm a rookie when it comes to cryptocurrencies and their trends so enlighten me if it's good or bad :)
"SBD converted to Steem" Trend is pretty exciting.
Steemians are bullish it seems, both for the platform and for the Steem Price :)
People really shouldn't be converting SBD to Steem right now. It's unfortunate that the feature is still shown on the website. It is weakening the peg and less profitable and more time consuming for themselves.

I edited my comment to include the reason. It is resulting in a looser peg and it also hurts them financially.

Cool post, but I wonder why Steemit's price went down during a huge expansion period. I know the price of most currencies went down, but not all of them. Steemit went from $2.30 or so to $1.70. Good to know the community is growing.
Just took a look at a couple of videos released by some youtubers i'm subscribed to, @trevonjb and etc. Steem is the way to go guys. No matter the situation. It's a social network. How does a social network go bad if you can earn from it while doing what everyone normally does on a social network. There's literally no down side. Cheers!

Even though the price of steem ha gone down considerably. It definitely shows future as a platform which in the end will increase the price notably.
I wish changes to the GUI are made and new features are added. Like the ones you've implemented in https://steemnow.com

Steem has a very bright future ahead of it, it makes me wonder how many new people are joining the platform each day
I heard about this first from a youtuber and actually ive come into contact with tons of other people on here who were sent here by him as well
the growth will be exponential and we'll see a major uptick in price and users soon

In my opinion, the increase in the number of new steemiens shows the attractiveness of this platform. The bigger we grow the higher the price of steem will go :)
I see that the daily amount of Steem being powered up is declining that is surprising to me after HF-19 I would think most would want to power up all they could
I feel very proud to be a member of this community. I wish this community grow stronger and stronger. Hope we all will cherish this plant to be large grown tree. Hope all social sites will bow down in front of steemit community.
