8. Steem Price Update

¯\___(ツ)____/¯ Follow me @penguinpablo for daily Steem statistics.
STEEM is dying, when we are lucky we have 10000 active users, when we are lucky...
Users are gone, and more and more are leaving... sell their votes... and will never return... so users voting should not be counted... lol...
I stay here, to see steem go under 0.10 cents... just for fun... :)
Bingo, i would say you are near right. the only reason i am happy to see steemit fail, is because the big fish here, hae killed the platform, so watch that wealth dry up is nice. Its sad really too, great platform and would be doing really well, if people remember to upvote people who comment on their postings. Instead of giving away their good votes to people, many spent it on themselves. only to watch their money shrink, they should have been seeing to the success of others, 1,100,000 accounts is nothing. This site should have been 5 million by the end of this year, but instead. we will never break 2 million. so many whales at 100% voting power every time i look, and their commentors go un-upvoted
i also think steem will hit 75 cents in the next month or two.
So does transfers to exchanges mean people are powering down to keep there steem off the steemit platform? Withdrawals from exchanges - could that be people buying steem power or is that people exchanging steem for something else like bitcoin?
Is this stat good or bad for the platform?
What do you think will happen to STEEM, once United States

Crypto-Currency is Activated...???
Still a very strong down trend for posts+comments. Looking at the accounts transacting it is actually quite stable. So those 2 numbers seem a bit inconsistent.
What do you think?
And where are we heading to?
more people less comments, i'm affraid the ship is sinking, unless somebody makes a move to save it, which i just dont see happening.
I think we all keep our hopes up. As it's quite nice on Steemit. There are so many awesome people. Sometimes you learn a little thing. And if I stick around 10 years I might earn $10. At least an higher amount I ever will on Facebook.
Well i hope your right, but i just don't see it, with whales really controlling most the funds, without their help, its going to sink. 90% stays with them, and 10% is not enough to keep mass numbers interested. Most of them upvote themselves, 90% of nothing is nothing, 10% of millions of users could really make them rich, but they just dont upvote their own readers, they can reward people for reading at no cost to them, and most just don't. i have even seen some whales that post the same chart 6 times a day, very cookie cutter style but not upvote anybody for months. That will lead to the downfall of steemit. I say upvote everything and we might get through it.
I totally agree.
Will you stick around until the ship sinks?
Hmmm, good question. I want to say no, but i will always be peeking in at least. Even if steem ticks up, i am almost good on my call, 85 cents right now. bitcoin is doing slightly better, but still down pretty big, and its only been a week or 2 so far. i would have thought steem would be the one to drop slower, but at the time i saw a ton of buy orders at $1.00, but now it seems even that is getting kicked way back. My whole issue is with the developers and whales, people got rich and they stopped. Whales don't upvote comments on their own blog, Search is dreadful, and nothing is really moving forward. If it does they could have a real platform, but we need to lose dead whales, and need a sign from the developers that they are always looking to be better. We just dont see that happening.
Great milestone, we have reached the 1.1 million accounts created!
lol... are you serious???
Hola @penguinpablo, magnificent report, just what i was looking for and you compressed it all in one place! Great stuff, congrats!
We are reletivaley new to this community and this helped understand what is going on inside, specially the last graph is very powerful.
