A 'transacting account' is a Steem account that made at least one transaction on the Steem blockchain. This can be a vote, post, comment, transfer, power up or sbd conversion. Users who only read from the Steem blockchain without interacting are not included. The actual number of 'Active users' is therefore much higher than the accounts transacting.

10. Steem Price Update
¯\___(ツ)____/¯ Follow me @penguinpablo for daily Steem statistics.
Here we go again with a low Steem price and falling activity. I always see it as an earning opportunity. I'm not going anywhere. Interesting to see Oracle-D creating lots of accounts. I know they want to bring in the 'demonetised' even though they may not be the sort of people many would want to see here. We shall see how that lands out. Steemhunt busy too, but that is not something I'm into. Always fun times on Steem
all the "whale complainers" should buy now. :D
Is it possible to show us an activity chart that filters out those few spammer accounts that each leave hundreds or thousands of comments per day? I’m curious to see what more “normal” activity looks like.
