the customised Harley-Davidson Blue Edition with a price tag of 1.5 million Euros about 1.7 million dollars and 12 crore.
The Blue Edition is adorned with diamonds and gold plated bits based on Harley-Davidson Softail Slim S.
The Harley-Davidson is made in Switzerland. The high pricing is due to the fact that various jewels and precious stones were used to adorn the bike, along with various gold plated bits, and as many as 360 diamonds to embellish the motorcycle.Even the screws used in the bike are gold plated as well thus giving it the mind bugging price tag.
The bike was commissioned by the topnotch Swiss watch and jewellery purveyor, Bucherer, to promote the company's Blue Editions watch collection. The bike started off as a stock Harley-Davidson Softail Slim S, before the cruiser was transformed into what it is now. It took a year to design and well over 2,500 hours of labour to produce. Having Motorcycle specialists of Bundnerbike collaborate with eight members of the watchmakers of Carl F. Bucherer, the jewellers of Bucherer Fine Jewellery to finally come up with this expensive machine, Harley-Davidson Blue Edition.
The Softail was stripped down and the new bodywork was fabricated giving the Harley something of a mix between a Bobber and a Chopper look.
The Harley-Davidson Blue Edition boasts of 5.4 carat solitaire ring and was officially unveiled on May 9, 2018 in Zurich at a launch event for what is now the world's most expensive motorcycle. Only a single of the Blue Edition was produced due to the huge price tag on it.
