Hi @nmalove , well I totally agree with you on this, the only way I have seen entertainers reach the lime light on steemit is by promoting the platform with what they have got, self promotion as i have seen on steemit, really never work out, also the front ends we have for videos, the likes of dlive and dtube as you have mentioned, is most times difficult to access either to watch a video or upload one.
Steemit is a blogging platform, and it is more centralised that we think it is, that is why i believe @appics is gonna be game changer, since the idea is to reward passion and have an instagram like on the blockchain, since it is also built on the steem blockchain, the way forward here is basically for the entertainers to make use of it and hopefully, everyone will be happy.
I remember inviting a comedian to the platform, he was doing so well on fb, but he did not even stay on steemit, for 2 weeks, yeah maybe he was not really persistent enough, but preferred the fact that his content was been appreciated on fb and even with the monetary reward here, he left!!
Oh dear, You are so damn right!.. While Steemit is really trying, recognition is difficult here.. Well, I hope Appics will be do justice to that.. Thanks for stopping by..
