Gaining something is better than nothing. That’s what I always say every time I look at my account. While exploring other posts in steemit, it’s sometimes heartbroken to see really good posts getting nothing at the end of the 24hr of post shelf life.
Importance of “Featuring Author”
One of my friends told me to try and make my account a place to feature other posts and content of another user for a chance of sharing benefits as all. Now my first thought was a rejection of that idea but after thinking about it actually turned out to be beneficial for the whole system at all according to my point of view. Now let me explain first why and for whom it’s beneficial.
To Users: Well if you have written a good piece of content, essay, analysis, story or any other contents that could be entertaining, informative or creative and deserve to be seen and earn some revenue, then by posting it in another user account that has the potential to earn money on its posts; you are actually here guaranteed to earn something for your hard work. So in this case, as a writer you earn a percentage and the account owner earn a percentage too. Therefore you both sides having the chance to feature themselves, earn followers, spread their knowledge and power as well as earning some money out of it. In such accounts, as a writer, you will guarantee yourself to earn something which is better than nothing.
To The System: As a system. This process of “Featuring Author” Allow the accounts of both users to grow their power in the system. It also increases the money revenue of the author and account owner to become more powerful with a chance to increase their Steem Power by either buying Steem with the money and powering up or even investing it to buys Steem to holds for even long investment. Moreover, it increases the process of the account potential by improving it faster and easier than when you start from the bottom. When both sides gain followers and get noticed by their good content, the process of going more power in steemit will get much simpler and less complex than before.
Why Posting Essays On Steemit?
Recently I was posting essays that I have been written in college. Using my own analysis of other content is a simple way to simplify the complex content that could seem hard for other to understand if they encounter by chance in school.
Now why it actually fires me up to write even more essays while I am studying? Now think of it. You go to school and your teacher asks you to write a piece of paper that might only be seen by him and that’s the end of the story for that essay. But then in steemit, this essay not only will be seen by one person but it will be seen by even more and that idea itself pushes me to work harder on steemit. In the top of that, you get paid for posting that particular content, how more good that could be? Terrific!!!
All this time I have been trying to post a good content that could at least shape some kind of understanding for some readers.
Feature Your Post In My Account

@dragonslayer has been doing a great job of featuring authors if you want an example of someone doing it well.
