During April I was exhausted with the Delhi heat, so I decided to make an escape and do something adventurous up in the Himalayas.
.
With the group of 15 students from my college I made a plan to visit Bir-Billing - an international paragliding site ranked 2nd on highest peaks for paragliding.
After a 14 hour of the journey via cab we reached Bir at 10 AM with a single stop at Chint Purni (Hindu Shaktipeeth- Temple of goddess Durga).
Bir and billing are two different locations up in Dhauladhar range. Bir is the base and landing site and Billing is the top from where gliding stars
The weather was cloudy there and we had to wait for the window for our flying. So we decided to look around and made a visit to a Buddhist Monastery .
Though the weather was not clear and we were excited so instead of waiting long we decided to go to the top and wait there. It was 24km from Bir and had very fast wind speed at the top.
After we got the window along with our pilot we had our flight. It was life changing experience. View was amazing and game me a life long memory.
