There are so many interesting issues when it comes to accounting on the blockchain... I only just had a chance to read this post but already I am thinking about the implications of delegation, using tokens or cryptocurrency in exchange for services, having multiple or joint ownership of accounts...

I think there needs to be a different accounting system for blockchains for sure because I don't think the 'conventional' tax systems will be able to cope! But at least you've given everyone a start if we can "quickly gather revenue data from your steemit account from SteemSQL and keep it up to date in excel with a quick click of the refresh button" that sounds like magic and should be a feature suggestion for @utopian-io.

Or maybe you can start your own crypto accounting business!
