Not all users who use a vote bot do it because they can't be bothered to read your post... They might do it because they really enjoy your posts and they don't always have the time to read and or reply! With using the votebot they can still reward you with something .... Of course this might be different for many But this is how I use my votelist on the bot. I only have like ten names on that list atm because I shift names around every now and then. So, in my eyes and IMHO it's not always an insult! There might be something from a good heart in it!

To add to what you said. Some of those who have allot of SP simply don't have enough time to read through hundreds of posts and equally spread their voting power. Instead , they put autovoting on users that they think that they bring value to this community. Don't see anything bad in it.

The point I was tryng to make was, why bother putting any effort into writinf a post when a simple meme gets the same reaction. I dont have the motivation anymore to put in the hard work of writing a good post as it wont get read. No I dont celebrate thanksgiving, all the very best to you :)
