Here in india too flowers are a must use in marriage functions and varies depends on location....The pictures is garland made of roses that both of them put on each other..

Its a tradition among a particular religion to put garland on each other neck as part of marriage function. people use different type of flowers for it. here is another snap from the same function..

Hey! @poocut beautiful pics of a marriage and lovely flowers worn by bride. We also have a ceremony of wearing flowers by bride. We call it “Haldi( turmeric) ceremony”. Where bride to be wear white and yellow flowers and guest come and apply her haldi(turmeric).
i think India and Aceh do have a resemblance in their culture.
if we read history then we will find that in ancient times many merchants and scholars of India who came to Aceh.
perhaps this is what causes the similarity of Aceh culture with India.

Hello @poocut The flowers symbolize love, delicacy, here in Venezuela, brides carry a bouquet or bouquet in their hands, some are adorned with a crown on their heads, excellent photographs, showing us the marital union.
