So '' vest holders'' are stakeholders in steemit Inc. The more vests/stakes a Steemian has, the greater his influence and the greater his rewards. So, pretty much, that is how it works in Steemit. A concrete example would be @stellabelle with 227.8 million vests versus @maryfavour with 10.28 million vests. The former (an orca), clearly has more influence than the latter (a dolphin).

thanks for the response... i have 0.035 mvests very minuscule influence it would seem..
