'Discovering Good Content to Re-post on Steemit' Drive

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

Hey there,

It rarely happens on Steemit that we discover some very good content and we decide to read them. Most of the contents of this community is money-oriented or lets just say posted because users want to earn through Steemit.

It take immense hard work and dedication to create a single well written post on a blog. I have decided to discover great content from the web and re-post it here in Steemit. Also I'd be leaving a comment or a personal message to the original content creator that the post has been re-published here in this blog.

That way not only our Steemit community gets to read great content but I'm also introducing the Steemit platform to great content creators across the globe.

I wish to bring in new people and great content through this drive and grow not only my blog but also the Steemit community to be honest.

I'll also have a strict monitoring of my inbox, in case any author wants to take down the re-post, I'll have it removed immediately.

Considering the follow base of my blog, I don't see that the re-posted articles will be getting too-many up votes.

I hereby promise that if there's any considerable amount of money that is earned via the blogs I'd be asking the original content creator to come on Steemit and I will transfer the earnings to this account.

If you wish to dedicate funds to this drive, kindly send the same to @pritambanikk via your wallet> transfer option

I'd want to know in the comments if you liked the idea.

Last thing: If you think you are doing some great work here, I'll try to help you by dedicating some SBD to you.(I'm tiny but some motivation may help) Let me know!

Thank you.

I assume you are talking about re-steems here, rather than plagiarism?

Most authors will be happy with re-steems, although with your small following it won’t add much yet.

On the other hand, if you copy paste from the web, or use other people’s work without permission, you will be quickly flagged by a bot.

"Plagiarism : the practice of taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as one's own."

I look forward to copy good content from other blogs like word-press and personal websites, after taking permission from the original creator to re-post it here in Steemit. If I put on the correct credits and the work has been obtained with permission, It isn't plagiarism.

Correct with permission and attribution that won’t be technically plagiarism. However it’s a risk, for you, as some bots or individuals may interpret it as such.

People would say, “I don’t need someone replicating the WWW here.”

However I think what readers here would enjoy much more is to have your own personal commentary on an article. You could then grab a sentence or paragraph from the original article to illustrate the points you are making. You wouldn’t need permission for small snippets like that, in quotes, if attributed.

Steemit is supposed to be about original writing and original content, and not a repository of things which have been written elsewhere, such replications of news stories and such like.

Alright. I get it! and thanks for stopping by :)
