Great post. However, here's the better question...how is it that you know this is a problem, yet the creators of Steem don't?! Really losing faith in Steem lately. There's no reason people with as much Steem power as you had many others have, should even have the choice to upvote your own posts and comments. All this is doihg is enabling greed, making the rich get richer, and giving the 90% of Steem without a lot of power, seeing the true colors of what's behind Steem, which is basically diluting the coin for the sole benefit of the whales, while forcing most of the Steemit community to kiss up to the whales and post crap for the sole purpose of getting upvoted. If it's so obvious to you Jerry that this is wrong, which it most certainly is, then why isn't it just as obvious to the developers. I bet it's fun for all the whalesgetting rich off the naivety of Steemit development, but I've always been taught to be greedy when others are fearful, and fearful when others are greedy Steemit is enabling pure greed, when it should be doing the exact opposite, but hey...let me just upvote this comment so I can get paid, and because I can. Yep, this will eventually crash the coin...guaranteed
