RE: Quick Update Regarding User Retention

in #steemit8 years ago (edited)

Thanks @dantheman for the realistic update. I find it surprising how some very successful users of steemit (@stellabelle) are being negative after they have gained so much from their experience here. This usually stems from unrealistic expectations of how steemit will grow.

Steemit Funnies #7 The Mental Synereo Post
I hope you got a chuckle from this comic. In the case of @stellabelle, I just had to dedicate a Steemit Funny cartoon to that sad post:

There are also many big account holders who are powering down, which causes a sense of panic among the community and creates questions for newer users.

Personally, I'm only powering up and using my mad trading skills to generate steem on the open market, which I will then transfer back here to become steem power. I see this trend of the big powering down as an opportunity for us smaller ones to climb the ranks. Steemit is weeding out the weaker hands. Also I use my blog to teach others to trade steem on the market like me follow suit. Just yesterday I was asked by Coinigy, (a major cryptocurrency platform that I use daily for my trading) to post my videos promoting steemit and the use of coinigy, on their Youtube channel. They have thousands of subscribers, so I was glad to comply.

Like you I can see a bright future here, and thank you for your continued efforts to make improvements to steemit.
