It is really worthy post to ask about managing contest and its prize share. Perhaps not only I, but also most of participants of contests might have different opinions and thoughts for rules and funds.
I would like to divide 300 STEEM into the following parts:
- 50 Steem for 2 people (Top-2) —> 50×2=100
- 25 Steem for 4 (3rd to 6th positions) —> 25×4=100
- 10 Steem for 6 people (7th to 12th positions) —> 10×6=60
- 5 Steem for 8 people (13th to 20th positions) —> 5×8=40
I know deciding part is not easier especially when multiple people did great write-ups. Making some rules would help at least for minimal.
- Add a rule for minimum and maximum word count.
- Add protocol rules just like in journalism.
I wish you will do conduct contests perfectly.
