Unfortunately, bots are turning into a business on Steemit.com
If bots are eliminated, business declines, usership declines.
The question comes down to how to find a balance.
Heres a quick idea:
If a "bot vote" could be reliably differentiated from a "human vote", then an algorithm could be applied allowing the reciever of the votes to only benefit from up to a fixed percentage (say 10% value from bots, 90% value from humans)
Bots are a slippery slope at best, but I'm sure my dad said the same thing when programming UNIVAC.

Well, an article can be upvoted in the feed without being read.
While this could account for some of the votes, bots do seem to be becomming a problem.

Probably most are bots, but also steemit does not count correctly, as there are other sites that use blockchain steem.
