I'm new to steemit. I imagine many of you are too. Now, I'm not exactly an expert on steemit yet, but if I've learned one thing so far it's this: you need to connect with other users and interact as much as possible in order to be successful.
That's hard when you're new and you don't really know anyone. You can post great content all day long, but it doesn't do any good if no one sees it! So let's start meeting some people.

What i am extremely curious is, what of all places have brought you to Steemit? How did you learn of this?
I actually learned about it through a Reddit thread! How about you?
I was listening to a Youtube podcast which i try and listen to daily. It's called X22 report! The author, "Dave" had talked about it and i was a lil reluctant but now glad i've joined...nice to meet ya!
It was actually a friend , we have talking about mining and the pro's and con's and he actually tatted telling me about it so I jumped on the computer and had a little bit of reading
This place is so much better than Facebook

Am I too late to the party? If so, I don't mind talking to myself. I found Steem while looking into potential Cryptocurrencies to invest in and instantly fell in love with it. I will be honest, one reason it appeals to me is because of the fact it is not extremely mainstream. I like to be a little different and find things before other people do, but I will still love it here when the waves of zombies jump on board. The other reason I like Steem is because of it's originality and the ability to be paid for appealing content. When you are paid for good content, you don't get all the trolls (not as many probably) posting nonsense, just to irritate others. People actually take the time to post quality material, and take the time to read and respond to others. Glad to be part of the team. Oh, and hello @raptorman, I am now a follower. Don't hesitate to do the same.
