I've just made my first deposit on Steemit!

in #steemit8 years ago (edited)

A few days ago I've decided to start make deposits on Steemit on weekly basis. Not much, just the amount that I can afford ($50 - $100). So, I've just made deposit of 0.1 BTC that increased my Steem Power by 29 (^_^)

Well, now I accept congratulations in the form of upvotes (^_^) and looking forward to the next week to see how much I can save for another deposit!

Here is the original post where I've asked people about this idea.

how are you getting here so quick. :) ...did you use the steembots that they posted up on steemit on how to get a bot?

Welcome and congrats on taking the first step, this is an amazing platform to voice what interests you. Its a journey so take it slow and enjoy it.

what's a BTC? still a newbie.

BTC stands for Bitcoin, the first cryptocurrency which got the cryptoworld started! you can read more about it on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bitcoin, also do a search on http://youtube.com

oh it's bitcoins.

Congrats, but I see in your wallet you received 29 SP from the username @blocktrades.
what is considered a deposit? I just wondering if I am misunderstanding as I am still new and understanding your wallet.

There are tons of tutorials here explaining everything you need to know about Steemit, BTC, etc. (lol)

Congrats, but I see in your wallet you received 29 SP from the username @blocktrades.

"reactor@blocktrades" is the label from bitcoin URI scheme - bitcoin:address[?amount=][?label=][?message=]
