I'm still a relative newbie to cryptos... I guess what I keep seeing is that most alt coins seem to have "no minds of their own." The market mostly just moves in whatever direction Bitcoin is moving... if BTC is tumbling, then everything else tumbles with it... and vice versa. So I'm guessing the alt coin market is going to be a bit dodgy till the dust settles around that whole BTC split/fork that might happen on August 1st.
